Oral history and digital humanities
I am the membership officer of the Oral History Network of Ireland.
Projects that I have worked on include:
- Cork Memory Map Last worked on in 2019 with James Furey from the Cork Folklore Project. There is also a backup/temporary version of the map.
- Cork’s Main Streets, a digital oral history website that highlights excerpts from the Cork Folklore Project’s oral history collection about North and South Main Street. First constructed as a pilot project (a digital oral history map), this was updated in September and October 2018 and it is now hosted by the Cork Folklore Project.
I worked with the Cork Folklore Project for my PhD, a publicly funded project. Where possible, the outputs, including thesis, articles, slides and notes from conference presentations and posters, are available here.
