Currently in the ‘background research’ phase for an oral history project recording the reflections of women who have worked in Irish archaeology. At the moment I am looking at the pioneering women who helped to create the archaeological record that we build on today. I will be looking in particular at the work of Louisa Beaufort, Margaret Stokes, Helen Roe, Francoise Hardy and Ellen Prendergast.
